In Sharjah, international cricket stars have played pivotal roles in the latest matches of the Pakistan Super League.

South Africa’s AB De Villiers and David Wiese led the Lahore Qalandars to a thrilling last-ball victory against Multan Sultans. De Villiers set up the successful two hundred-and-one run-chase with a quick-fire fifty.

Wiese sealed the deal with a six off the last delivery of the game.

In the 2nd match of the night, West Indies’ star Kieron Pollard smashed a twenty-two-ball half-century against Islamabad United. Despite his smashing innings, Peshawar fell 12 runs short of the one hundred and fifty-nine-run target set by Islamabad United.
