WON’T ATTEND SUMMIT IF INDIA IS INVITED: ISLAMABAD TELLS OIC

Pakistan has told the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that it would boycott the summit later this week if India’s invitation is not withdrawn. In a letter to OIC Secretary General Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan has asked the UAE to withdraw the invitation to India Qureshi invited the OIC’s attention towards the deteriorating security situation in the region after India’s violation of the Line of Control.
Qureshi said that India’s two air intrusions into Pakistan’s air space were violations of international law. He said that Pakistan has the right to act in self-defence against India’s aggression.
