Asia Politics Sports

Pakistan has asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to act against Indian cricket team for wearing military caps in its match against Australia. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, in a statement, said that it is ICC’s responsibility to take notice of India’s politicizing the sport.

Information minister Fawad Chaudhry, in a tweet, said if ICC fails to take action, Pakistan’s cricket team should wear black bands to protest Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. Speaking to reporters, he said that India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to use ugly tactics to win polls.
