The Philadelphia seventy-sixers and Cleveland Cavaliers have won their latest games to climb the rankings of the NBA.
Playing at their home arena, Philadelphia beat the Boston Celtics by 118 points to 115. Joel Embiid scored 37 points and a career-high 22 rebounds as the 76ers averted a season’s sweep by the Celtics.
At Ohio’s Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Milwaukee Bucks by 107 points to 102. Collin Sexton scored 25 points and Jordan Clarkson added 23 off the bench to lead the Cavaliers to victory. Sexton has become the first rookie to score 23 points in six consecutive games, since Tim Duncan did it twice for the San Antonio Spurs in 1998.
