Britain’s police has launched an investigation into vandalism targeting five mosques in Birmingham.
Police said in a statement that counter-terrorism officers are investigating attacks on the mosques in different areas of the city.
Officials said that police is cooperating with faith partners across the region to offer their support at mosques.
Police patrols are also underway in the areas with mosques and a large Muslim presence.
Meanwhile, British Home Secretary Sajid Javid has termed the attacks deeply concerning and distressing. Sajid said that hateful behavior has absolutely no place in their society and will never be accepted.
