ITALY HONOURS LEONARDO DA VINCI ON 500TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY

Art exhibitions have been held across Italy to pay homage to legendary artist Leonardo da Vinci on his 500th death anniversary.

The 15th century artist is famous for his masterpiece, the Mona Lisa. Certified copies of Leonardo Da Vinci’s sketches were displayed at the exhibitions. The copies were reproduced using material and procedures that were available to the legendary artist in his era.

The exhibitions will continue until May 2nd, the day when Leonardo da Vinci died in 1519.
