TWO SAUDI OIL TANKERS ATTACKED OFF UAE COAST

Two Saudi oil tankers have been targeted in a sabotage attack off the coast of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said the vessels were on their way to deliver crude oil to the US. He said the attack did not lead to any casualties or an oil spill.

Earlier, the UAE foreign ministry said four commercial vessels were targeted near the country’s territorial waters.

Iran expressed concerns over the attack on Saudi tankers and has sought more information about the incident.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi warned against conspiracies to disrupt regional security. He called on regional states to be vigilant.
