China has said it is now ready to resume talks with Washington. Beijing’s negotiations with US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin’s were
delayed after last round of talks failed to deliver. China’s ambassador to the US, Cui Tiankai, blamed the US for sinking the trade deal.
Tiankai also criticized White House’s move to ban Huawei and said it was politically motivated. The American Chamber of Commerce of
China has conducted a survey on the impact of US tariffs in China. It said after US tariffs, over 40 percent of respondents are
considering relocating their manufacturing outside China. Meanwhile, a top US business lobby in China has warned, Beijing could
retaliate with non-tariff barriers.
