Russia says radical extremist organizations, including the ones pushed out from the Middle East, are stepping up their activities in Afghanistan.

President Vladimir Putin said the situation in Afghanistan is of special concern to Russia.

Speaking at the CICA summit in Tajikistan, Putin said Russia will assist the intra-Afghan dialogue in every possible way.

He said that  Moscow will do everything to implement the road-map adopted at the recent S-C-O summit.

He called Qatar Russia’s reliable partner in the Middle East and North Africa, hoping to discuss regional problems.

The Russian president said sustainable stability system in Asia can only be achieved by resolving current conflicts.

Currently, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia has 27 permanent member states.
